Private Lessons


Private classes are offered at $50.00 per hour, and can be scheduled through the Artistic Director, Amy Atkinson.  Semi-private classes are also offered at the discounted price of $40.00 per hour, per student.

 

The Nutcracker


All of our Ballet students ages 3 and older are invited to participate in The Dance Box’s annual production of The Nutcracker.  The performance is held on the first Sunday of December at 2:00 PM. We hope you enjoy this holiday tradition as much as we enjoy putting it together.

Nutcracker Production Packet:  Please make sure you keep an eye out for our Nutcracker Production Packet, which will be available in September.   This packet is full of information and details about our performance.  Please keep it in a safe place!

Costume Rental

Participating students will cover a $25.00 costume rental fee (covering the cost of their first two costumes), with an additional $10.00 necessary for any additional costumes.

There will also be a $10.00 fee for new tights at each recital.

Production Fee

In order to help cover rental costs for the King George High School auditorium, $50.00 per child will be due by September 15th .

The Costume Fee and Production Fee are both due October 15th. You will be charged the above amount through compete services. If you DO NOT want to participate you must fill out the Dance Production Withdrawal form no later than September 14th.

Dress Rehearsal

Absence Policy for Production Dancers:

Any student that misses 3 classes in the month leading up to the production and/or a mandatory rehearsal will NOT be allowed to participate in the production, unless excused by the director. In order to be considered for an excused absence, please fill out the excused absence form. No refunds will be awarded in the event that a dancer is not allowed to perform. Please understand that this is a financial and time commitment, and every child is crucial to our production. Thank you in advance for supporting our policy!

 

Spring Recital


All of our dancers are invited to participate in our annual Spring Recital.  Those students in a combination class will have 2 dances, but will use one costume for both dances. This is a great way to save money for our families!

Spring Production Packet: Please make sure you to keep an eye out for our Spring Production Packet.  This packet is full of information and details about our performance.  Please keep it in a safe place!

Costume Purchase

Participating students will cover a costume fee of approximately $50.00 for most classes with the exception of Ballet III, which may be higher. Please note that props may also be necessary depending on the performance, incurring their own additional costs.

The Costume Fee is due November 15th, and the Production Fee is due February 15th. You will be charged the above amount through compete services, which will automatically be drafted out on November 15th and February 15th.  If you DO NOT want to participate you must fill out the Dance Production Withdraw form no later than December 14th.
